Job Description
Ehrenamtliche Finanzleitung bei Bundesverbraucherhilfe e.V., Deutschlands Verbraucherorganisation. Verantwortung für Haushalt, Beiträge, Jahresabschluss und Finanzberichte an das Präsidium.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and monitor the budget
- Oversee membership fees, payment processing, and expense reimbursements
- Prepare the annual financial statements in collaboration with the financial accounting team
- Provide regular financial reports to the Executive Board
- Support the audit of the accounts and implement its recommendations
- Coordinate tax and nonprofit-law matters with external advisors
- Establish clear processes for approvals and financial documentation
- Report directly to the Executive Board
- Work closely with financial accounting and the audit team
Requirements:
- Experience in finance, controlling, accounting, or public-sector treasury
- Knowledge of association law and nonprofit law is an advantage
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and integrity
- Ability to present financial topics clearly and understandably
- Reliable management of deadlines and financial closings
- A formal degree is not required; practical experience is valued
