Job Description
Corporate finance professional evaluating AI assistants on realistic finance and accounting tasks. Providing expert feedback to help Mercor train frontier AI models.
Responsibilities:
- Write short, realistic finance and accounting requests for AI assistants
- Work with the assistant over several turns by steering it, answering questions, and correcting errors
- Rate the experience and deliverable against a professional standard
- Write short notes describing what went well or badly
- Contribute human expertise to training and enhancing frontier AI systems
Requirements:
- Accountant, FP&A analyst, controller, auditor, tax professional, or finance manager
- 3+ years of professional experience in corporate finance, accounting, FP&A, audit, or tax
- Work in spreadsheets every day
- Use AI assistants at least occasionally
- Write clearly in English
- Candidate must be located in a country where the assistant is available
- Independent contractor engagement
- Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates
