Job Description
Freelance Portuguese teacher delivering personalised online lessons for Busuu’s global language-learning platform. Teaching corporate clients through 45-minute lessons and 1:1 coaching.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and teach online 45-minute lessons for corporate clients
- Deliver private 1:1 lessons combining language teaching and personalised coaching
- Conduct needs analyses and assess student levels
- Create bespoke learning paths
- Check student progress during lesson time
- Set clear learning goals
Requirements:
- C2 Level of Portuguese
- Valid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or related university degrees
- Experience in online teaching and providing 1:1 coaching or personalised learning support
- B1 or above in English
- Comfortable teaching presentation skills, negotiations, business email etiquette, meeting management, multicultural communication, etc.
- Excellent communication skills to engage and teach students
- High-Speed Internet
- Modern Laptop / PC with a microphone and camera
- Must comply with local freelance/contractor regulations
