Job Description
Senior Frontend Engineer building reliable, high-performance interfaces for QV.AC, Tether’s AI assistant. Developing cross-platform experiences with React, TypeScript, and distributed technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver new features and bug fixes with a focus on reliability, performance, and user satisfaction
- Maintain high codebase quality through consistent coding standards, code reviews, and automated testing
- Design and develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces and application state
- Ensure seamless user experiences across platforms
- Translate AI intelligence into meaningful human experiences for QV.AC
- Contribute to a product serving the local AI assistant market
Requirements:
- Proven experience with React/Preact and modern JavaScript/TypeScript in production-scale applications
- Strong competency in state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar
- Ability to write modular, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Solid skills in testing and debugging complex frontend applications
- Deep interest or experience with P2P technologies or distributed systems
- Comfort working in a remote, globally distributed team
- Good communication skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Preferred: experience with desktop application development using Electron, Tauri, or similar runtimes
- Preferred: familiarity with video/audio APIs, WebRTC, media streams, and real-time communication
- Preferred: demonstrated ability to optimize UI performance, including rendering and memory management
- Preferred: experience building cross-platform applications for macOS, Windows, Linux, or similar
- Bonus: past contributions to open-source software projects, especially in P2P or decentralized technology
