Job Description
Senior Software Engineer supporting and enhancing Cotiviti’s healthcare analytics product suite. Developing .NET, Azure, database, and LLM solutions while mentoring developers.
Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance high-quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite
- Analyze and resolve software-related issues originating from internal or external customers
- Document application specifications, design, features, and operation before production rollout
- Execute solution enhancements to improve performance and availability
- Communicate technical and operational issues to engineering and business leadership in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to technology standards while developing systems
- Explore new ideas and make innovative contributions to processes or systems that improve efficiency and results
- Continuously improve knowledge of technologies selected and integrated into the Cotiviti product suite
- Execute all appropriate facets of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle
- Collaborate with senior developers, offshore development team members, business owners, project management, and internal stakeholders
- Mentor other developers
- Complete annual Performance Plan responsibilities and assigned special projects
Requirements:
- BS or MS Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- Retail application support or direct retail experience, preferred
- 5+ years of IT industry experience
- 5+ years’ experience with relational databases
- 5+ years’ experience with MVC design methodologies
- 5+ years' experience with both .Net 4.x and Core Frameworks
- 5+ years’ experience in ASP and C#
- 4+ years’ developing solutions in frameworks/platforms including Angular, React, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft Azure containers, gateways, and firewall configurations
- Strong expertise designing and implementing Azure cloud architectures using App Services, Functions, Storage, and AKS scaling strategies
- 3+ years of practical experience with LLM systems including Agent and Prompt Flow Development, Embedding Strategies and Index Design
- Proficiency in the creation and support of Microsoft web services (REST API and SOAP)
- Expert in CI/CD best practices utilizing code management platforms and deployment utilities such as Bitbucket, Atlassian Bamboo, and Octopus Deploy
- Extensive experience developing interfaces that reference/parse XML, JSON, and XSLT datasets
- Advanced understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
- Advanced experience optimizing and tuning Microsoft SQL, Snowflake, and Postgres queries, stored procedures, and triggers
- Experience with basic commands/configuration in Debian/Linux OS platform
- Basic knowledge and application of SAFe agile practices, preferred
- Experience in .NET WinForms development, preferred
- Proficiency working with large data sets
- Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area
- Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity
