Job Description
Fullstack Developer building scalable payout APIs and React Native apps for a fintech company. Owning services from ideation through production in Portugal’s regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build resilient and scalable APIs in TypeScript using Node.js and Express, and in Java/Kotlin using SpringBoot
- Write well-structured and componentized applications in React Native
- Own products and services vertically, from ideation to production
- Use automation to manage infrastructure, testing, deployment and monitoring
- Work in a highly regulated and compliance-heavy environment while remaining disruptive and innovative
- Collaborate with a diverse, like-minded group focused on customers and efficient delivery of high-value outcomes
Requirements:
- About 4+ years of experience delivering in a Typescript stack
- Strong product acumen and a customer-centric approach to product development
- Proficiency with relational (PostgreSQL) and document (Couchbase) databases
- Good understanding of micro-service architecture, Kubernetes and distributed systems
- Experience working with design systems and mobile/web frontend frameworks (Tailwind, React Native)
- Versed with the AWS toolset (EKS, Fargate, API GW, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Kinesis/MFK, etc.)
- Capability to describe infrastructure using IaC technologies (AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Previous fintech experience is a plus
