Job Description
Gen AI Creative Technologist building agentic workflows and creative systems for Pencil’s AI marketing platform. Enabling faster, scalable, on-brand advertising production.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients, creative teams, and stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges, and operational requirements
- Facilitate workflow audits and capability assessments
- Identify where GenAI, agents, or automation can improve quality, efficiency, or scale
- Translate operational challenges into technical implementation plans
- Design and build production-grade prompts, workflows, agents, and creative systems
- Develop repeatable, scalable frameworks supporting multiple brands, markets, and channels
- Own workflow governance, quality control, and reliability of deployed systems
- Establish technical standards and best practices for agents and workflows
- Lead training, workshops, and office hours for system adoption
- Own technical documentation, playbooks, and guides for internal and client use
- Support change management as tools and workflows roll out
- Act as technical authority on GenAI capabilities, limitations, and constraints
- Evaluate emerging AI models, platforms, and tooling for technical fit and scalability
- Stress-test new capabilities and provide structured technical feedback to Product and Engineering
- Identify architectural improvements to existing agents, workflows, and systems
- Represent the technical roadmap for creative technology internally
Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ experience in advertising creative development
- Experience with GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Gemini etc.
- Experience with GenAI techniques such as model selection & prompting
- Any experience using GenAI to deliver real-world advertising creative
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Good personal communication and management skills
- Preference for candidates who have prior agency experience
- Strong written English skills, allowing you to communicate effectively with clients and team
- Access to a reliable computer with an internet connection exceeding 40 Mbps
- A collaborative and team-oriented attitude with optimism about the role of GenAI in creativity
