Job Description

Global Logistics Manager overseeing logistics operations across global markets at Gigamon. Collaborating with procurement, operations, finance, and legal teams for efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimize domestic and international logistics operations
  • Manage supplier relationships with a portfolio of global logistics service providers, including freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PLs, and last-mile carriers
  • Lead RFP processes, contract negotiations, and SLA development
  • Conduct regular performance reviews using KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and execute global transportation strategies for optimizing air and ground freight lanes
  • Manage day-to-day freight operations, escalations, and exception handling
  • Maintain accurate product classifications and coordinate with compliance partners
  • Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update internal procedures

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in global logistics, supply chain, or international trade
  • Strong business ownership mentality
  • Proven track record managing third-party logistics providers and carrier relationships at a global scale
  • Experience working with Air Freight & Ground logistics
  • Working knowledge of import/export regulations, Incoterms, customs procedures, and trade compliance frameworks
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using Excel or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Excellent project management and communication and writing skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Studies, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Business, International Trade
  • Certifications such as APICS CSCP, CSCMP, or a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation
  • Experience with SFDC, Dynamics 365 or similar enterprise systems
  • Familiarity with trade compliance software
