Job Description

Group Product Manager leading growth initiatives at Engine, transforming business travel into a seamless experience. Owning the entire growth product strategy for acquisition and expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • PLG strategy and execution across the full funnel: acquisition, activation, expansion, cross-sell, and referrals.
  • Communications platform: owning and evolving the system that manages and maintains all product communications.
  • Experimentation rigor: establishing and scaling a disciplined test-and-learn engine.
  • Horizontal growth surfaces: dashboard cards, banners, tooltips, empty states, post-booking modals.
  • Targeting models: Building our next best action modeling in partnership with the data science team.
  • Roadmap and prioritization: balancing short-term experiment velocity with longer-term foundational investments.
  • Team leadership: managing and developing a team of PMs, aligning closely with design, engineering, data, and go-to-market partners.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in product management, including 2+ years leading a team of PMs or in a group PM capacity.
  • Deep PLG experience: you've built or scaled self-serve growth motions, and you understand the difference between a tactic and a system.
  • Strong AI execution: You can ship small-cut fixes and improvements yourself. Claude or GPT is tightly integrated into your workflows.
  • Experimentation fluency: you know how to size a test, design a hypothesis, set guardrails, and turn results into durable learning. You raise the bar when it isn't set high enough.
  • Strong analytical instincts: you're comfortable in Amplitude, can interrogate a funnel, and know which metrics to trust and which to question.
  • Systems thinking: you distinguish between foundational product investment and lightweight experimentation, and you know how to sequence both.
  • Cross-functional credibility: you work well with engineers, designers, data, and go-to-market teams, and you know how to drive alignment without burning cycles.
  • Hands-on leadership: you set strategy and dive in yourself.

Benefits:

  • Compensation: Competitive base pay tied to role and experience, with opportunities for bonuses, commissions, and equity.
