Job Description

Product Owner shaping digital products and AI-enabled delivery for Valtech, an experience innovation company. Aligning clients and teams, owning roadmaps, managing risks, and mentoring product professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the product vision for each engagement
  • Align Valtech teams and client stakeholders around product direction and decisions
  • Resolve tensions among business priorities, delivery constraints, and user needs
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and serve as a point of contact for product decisions and strategic direction
  • Lead discovery and delivery while maintaining a prioritized roadmap focused on outcomes
  • Champion AI tooling across the software development lifecycle and coach teams and clients on practical applications
  • Present roadmaps, navigate scope conversations, and manage escalations with executive presence
  • Identify delivery, stakeholder-alignment, and commercial risks; propose mitigations and lead responses
  • Own or co-own product roadmaps and make prioritization decisions using user, data, and client-strategy insights
  • Identify opportunities to expand Valtech engagements and support commercial conversations
  • Mentor junior product and delivery team members
  • Contribute to the evolution of Valtech’s Product Practice by sharing learnings about AI tooling, delivery approaches, and client engagement

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience
  • Demonstrable Product Owner experience in a digital consultancy or agency environment
  • Track record leading product delivery on complex client engagements
  • Ability to align cross-functional teams and senior client stakeholders around shared product direction
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, including presenting recommendations and leading difficult conversations
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools across the SDLC, including synthesis, requirements generation, prototyping, documentation, delivery reporting, and development
  • Curiosity about AI and emerging technology, with experience experimenting with new tools
  • Experience owning product roadmaps and backlogs end-to-end
  • Strong prioritization and trade-off decision-making methodology
  • Commercial awareness, including SOW management, budget health, revenue, and margin outcomes
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments and adapting frameworks to engagement needs
  • Track record developing others through mentorship, line management, or leading by example
  • French language proficiency required, including conversational and written communication skills
  • For Québec-based candidates, fluency in English is necessary for collaboration with teams in the Americas and Europe
  • Natural collaboration, intellectual curiosity, polished communication, strategic thinking, initiative, and bias toward action
