Job Description
Head of Agents owning CoinPoker’s crypto-poker agent program, P&L, commissions, and market expansion. Leading agent managers across LATAM, CIS, and Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Own CoinPoker’s agent program and its P&L end to end
- Select markets and source, vet, onboard, and manage agents
- Set commercial strategy, growth targets, and market sequencing
- Own the commission budget and program cost envelope
- Set and enforce agent policies, vetting standards, performance thresholds, permitted territories and channels, and removal grounds
- Negotiate agent terms and design commission structures and tiering
- Own agent settlement, reporting requirements, and dispute resolution
- Review agent downline ecology and address networks that extract from the player pool
- Monitor net rake and cohort retention, escalate underperformance, remove underperforming agents, and reduce revenue concentration
- Collaborate with payments, fraud, and VIP teams on market settlement and player behavior
- Recruit and manage agent managers, assign market coverage, set targets, and enforce performance standards
- Report monthly to senior management on program performance, market penetration, agent performance, market dynamics, competitor activity, and opportunities
Requirements:
- Direct experience working with agents and agent networks across LATAM, CIS, and Asia
- Existing contacts in LATAM, CIS, and Asia markets
- Practical understanding of commission structures, downline tracking, settlement, and dispute handling
- Judgment on where agents are the right mechanism based on payments, liquidity, or reach barriers
- Understanding of grassroots acquisition routes, including social and private poker communities, local card rooms, private game organisers, and trusted local networks
- Commercial and analytical discipline, with poker literacy
- Ability to evaluate agents on net rake, cohort retention, and agent-network ecology
- Ability to model program economics before agreeing terms
- Demonstrated experience building and leading commercial teams
- Experience setting targets, holding people accountable, and developing managers
- Vigilance regarding agent-side risks, including inflated downlines, incentivized signups, and bonus abuse
- Ability to investigate anomalous cohort data and terminate low-quality agents
- Experience owning an agent program outright or experience with crypto settlement in markets with limited banking access strongly advantageous
