Job Description

HVAC Technician delivering effective, efficient maintenance services to commercial properties. Utilize skills in carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC to meet varied customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely delivery of the Company’s line of services to multiple customers within an assigned geographic territory.
  • Perform minor carpentry, plumbing and electrical maintenance.
  • Perform preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot and service of commercial HVAC systems.
  • Utilize multiple trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and roofing, HVAC, and other skills as needed to solve maintenance problems.
  • Complete thorough Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services on all standard package and split unit HVAC systems.
  • General repairs of steam/hot water boiler systems.
  • Perform minor plumbing maintenance on existing systems.
  • Perform routine painting, carpentry work, etc., as necessary to maintain our Client’s facilities in like new condition.
  • Complete service inspections and asset inspections as needed.

Requirements:

  • HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc), or Specialty Floor Care, preferred.
  • Certified 2 year HVAC technical certificate or state approved HVAC license.
  • 5 years HVAC/General Maintenance experience including electrical, plumbing, carpentry required; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Must possess an EPA Universal Refrigeration License.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
