Job Description
Infrastructure Analyst ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of technology infrastructure in a remote setup. Ensure proactive management of incidents and continuous improvement of IT services.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and maintain physical and virtual servers in Windows and Linux environments.
- Monitor performance, resource usage and apply security patches.
- Manage backup, restore and contingency routines.
- Administer LAN/WAN network infrastructure, including switches, routers and firewalls.
- Ensure availability of links, VPNs and secure connections between sites and the cloud.
- Manage environments in Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
- Implement automations, security policies and cost controls in the cloud.
- Implement and maintain security policies, access controls and corporate antivirus.
- Monitor vulnerabilities and support audits and compliance activities, including LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law) and ISO 27001.
- Work on infrastructure incidents at levels 2 and 3.
- Support the Service Desk and document solutions in the knowledge base.
- Keep inventory of hardware, software and licenses up to date.
- Plan capacity and propose procurements proactively.
- Participate in technology upgrade, migration and automation projects.
- Propose and implement continuous improvements in performance, cost and security.
Requirements:
- Strong experience administering Windows and Linux servers.
- Practical knowledge of networking and security.
- Experience with virtualization, including creating and maintaining virtual machines.
- Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex incidents.
- Ability to produce clear and up-to-date technical documentation.
- Analytical, collaborative profile with a sense of priority and responsibility.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox or similar.
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments, including administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG or equivalents.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP and firewalls.
- Experience with backup and restore routines, using tools like Veeam, Acronis or similar.
- Knowledge of automation scripting such as PowerShell, Bash or basic Python.
- Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Practical experience with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS or GCP (preferred).
- Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, MCSA or equivalent (preferred).
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator certification (preferred).
- CompTIA Network+, Security+ or equivalent certifications (preferred).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible or similar (preferred).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
- Knowledge of observability and logging tools such as ELK Stack, Prometheus or CloudWatch (preferred).
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks such as ITIL and ISO 20000 (preferred).
- Prior experience in hybrid environments combining on-premise and cloud (preferred).
- Participation in data center modernization or cloud migration projects (preferred).
