Job Description
Instructional Designer focused on developing tailored learning experiences for the US Air Force Research Laboratory. Creating engaging materials and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance learning.
Responsibilities:
- Identify performance, skills, knowledge, information, and attitude gaps of a targeted audience and create learning experiences to fill these gaps
- Design and execute knowledge transfer initiatives for the US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL)
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comprehensive documentation
- Develop online course content tailored to meet organizational objectives and learner requirements, ensuring accessibility and engagement
- Create engaging learning materials such as presentations, instructional videos, and interactive exercises
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and stakeholders for high-quality learning resources
- Assess effectiveness of learning and training materials and make continuous improvements to optimize learning outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or a closely related field
- 4+ years of teaching, training, or web designing experience
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
- Familiarity with design and learning programs (Adobe, Photoshop, Flash, etc.)
- Excellent communication and graphic design skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
- Ability to operate effectively in remote/hybrid team environments
- NACI or ability to obtain
