Job Description
Quality Analyst responsible for testing software quality, reliability, and performance. Collaborating with developers and product managers in a dynamic environment at Foster Moore.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications
- Perform manual and automated testing on web, mobile, and backend applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria and improve testability
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Maintain and improve test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Conduct regression, performance, and usability testing across platforms and devices
- Provide feedback on user experience and product functionality from a quality perspective
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and company policies
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
- Proficiency with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps) and test management systems (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
- Basic understanding of web technologies (Angular, CSS, JavaScript) and APIs
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
