Job Description

Communications Intern supporting stakeholder communications and marketing for a not-for-profit organization. Ideal for a student seeking hands-on experience in corporate communications and content creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and graphic design for the development of recycling awareness campaigns and educational materials.
  • Support project management of key initiatives and ensure various design and content needs progress to a production-ready state.
  • Writing and editing communications material – digital and print.
  • Help maintain and update website content for partners.
  • Provide organizational support on various digital marketing and communications elements.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Business, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience writing for different audiences or platforms.
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management tools.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a strong understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and the ability to communicate and apply AI technologies effectively within a business context.
