Job Description

Inventory Coordinator managing retail and wholesale inventory for a fast-paced retailer. Handling purchase orders, replenishment, product data, reporting and website administration remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Raise and manage in-season Purchase Orders.
  • Process purchase order amendments and cancellations.
  • Manage seasonal indent orders.
  • Prepare and distribute in-season inventory reports.
  • Support Buying and Merchandise with seasonal product administration.
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders and the Distribution Centre regarding inbound shipments.
  • Monitor shipment status and update expected delivery dates.
  • Arrange freight and courier bookings, including DHL.
  • Replenish retail stores and warehouse inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify stock shortages or overstock situations.
  • Update supplier cost prices, wholesale pricing and recommended retail pricing (RRP).
  • Upload, receipt and reconcile Purchase Orders.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Upload store allocations and manage store replenishment based on sales performance and inventory requirements.
  • Maintain and update Min/Max replenishment settings.
  • Analyse size curves and adjust allocation profiles to maximise sell-through.
  • Assist with stock transfers between stores where required.
  • Maintain accurate product, inventory and barcode information within the EEE POS system.
  • Complete item registration and perform regular data audits.
  • Monitor the website and upload new product information.
  • Coordinate product launches with the Buying and Marketing teams.
  • Produce inventory, replenishment and stock movement reports.
  • Assist with inventory forecasting and purchasing decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and system efficiencies.
  • Support stocktakes and inventory reconciliations.
  • Undertake additional administration and inventory-related duties as directed.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, filtering and pivot tables.
  • Confidence working with large data sets and inventory systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to identify process improvements.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, merchandise administration, allocations, replenishment or buying administration is highly desirable.
  • Experience within a retail, wholesale or FMCG environment will be highly regarded.
  • Experience using POS, ERP or inventory management systems, such as EEE POS or similar, is advantageous.
