Job Description
Investigator Grants Specialist developing and forecasting investigator grants for Worldwide Clinical Trials, a global CRO. Reviewing protocols, budgets, fair-market-value benchmarks, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and disseminate Investigator Grants for pre- and post-award activities
- Support various groups related to Investigator Grants delivery
- Report directly to the Investigator Grants Manager
- Develop, deliver, and maintain Investigator Grants exports during the bidding and study template development phases
- Work with appropriate teams to ensure accurate, complete, and timely Investigator Grants deliveries
- Assist in developing and maintaining processes, policies, SOPs, and associated Investigator Grants documents
- Advise Commercial Operations, Project Management, Business Development, Site Activation, Clinical Operations, and customers on forecasting strategies and risk mitigation
- Review study protocols and liaise with relevant departments to complete costing strategies for protocol-driven costs
- Review study budgets and costs related to Investigator Grants operations
- Participate in Commercial Operations activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Knowledge regarding global industry standard benchmarks and fair market value
- Proven expertise using investigator grant software, such as GrantPlan or Grants Manager, on a global level
- Experience reviewing and understanding study protocols, study budgets, and technical, medical, and legal documents related to Investigator Grants
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and changing environment
- Strong planning, strategizing, managing, monitoring, scheduling, critiquing, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of clinical trial agreements
- Computer expertise with document and spreadsheet applications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, law, science, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in forecasting Investigator Grants
- Adept knowledge of the biopharmaceutical/CRO industry and applicable local regulatory requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of global industry standard benchmarks, fair market value, ICH and GCP Guidelines, and local compensation and regulatory requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills
- Experience with investigator grant forecasting tools, such as GrantPlan or Grants Manager, preferred
