Job Description
Investment Banking Expert applying financial modeling and analysis expertise to train frontier AI models. Fully remote, flexible independent-contractor research engagement with Mercor.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research-project work for a leading foundational model AI lab
- Apply investment banking expertise to help train and enhance AI systems
- Contribute financial modeling, pitch decks, investment/analysis summaries and memos, or company/industry analysis
- Commit at least 10 hours per week during the engagement
- Collaborate with leading researchers
- Complete work remotely on an independent schedule
- Maintain confidentiality boundaries by not accessing employers', clients', or institutions' confidential or proprietary information
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working at top firms in investment banking
- Experience in at least one of: Financial Modeling; Pitch Decks; Investment/Analysis Summaries and Memos; Company/Industry Analysis
- Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week
- Availability for a minimum four-week engagement
- Must be based in one of the listed eligible locations: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, or United States
- Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
- Must work as an independent contractor
