Job Description

Financial systems developer administering Oracle EPM Cloud for the National Laboratory of the Rockies. Supporting enterprise planning, integrations, governance, troubleshooting, and close processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and maintenance for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud
  • Develop system enhancements and handle service tickets and daily support
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Contribute to data governance and delivery of OCFO data
  • Troubleshoot EPM system errors, process issues, and integrations with other systems
  • Optimize EPM system structure for improved enterprise analytics and performance
  • Assist with and develop training materials for stakeholders
  • Manage OCFO EPM security permissions, user requests, and system updates
  • Ensure nightly, month-end, and yearly processes run smoothly
  • Collaborate with Information Technology Services on software development activities, requirements, solution specifications, test plans, and custom software solutions
  • Provide technical input and recommendations on software solutions
  • Research business-unit issues, determine root causes, identify actions, and resolve issues
  • Follow software development processes, iterative design approaches, documentation standards, and IT support tools
  • Implement EPM administration best practices and cybersecurity guidelines
  • Manage multiple EPM pods
  • Coordinate regression testing for monthly EPM patching and support major EPM updates
  • Implement and follow approval workflows for user management
  • Manage EPM Identity Domain administrative accounts and access
  • Communicate work status and manage assignments, performance, and deliverables

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree and 14 or more years of experience, or equivalent relevant education/experience; or relevant Master's Degree and 12 or more years; or relevant PhD and 9 or more years; or relevant JD and 9 or more years (Professional Level V)
  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree and 9 or more years of experience, or equivalent relevant education/experience; or relevant Master's Degree and 7 or more years; or relevant PhD and 4 or more years; or relevant JD and 4 or more years (Professional Level IV)
  • Must meet educational requirements prior to employment start date
  • Eligibility may be restricted based on citizenship due to access to Controlled Unclassified Information
  • High level of experience in technical, administrative, functional, and development aspects of Oracle EPM Cloud
  • Groovy scripting experience and understanding
  • Knowledge of SmartView and EPM Automate
  • Expertise administering integrations between on-premises and Cloud EPM using available tools including EPM Automate
  • 5+ years of recent and relevant EPM technical, administrative, functional, and development experience for on-premise Hyperion and Cloud EPM
  • Cloud EPM experience is essential
  • Experience leading full-scope solution delivery through analysis, design, and development of integrations, extensions, user interfaces, reports, and workflows within EPM
  • Understanding of full-cycle SDLC or Agile methodologies, quality, development standards, and change control
  • Ability to design and implement reliable, scalable, high-performing solutions for mission-critical EPM applications
  • Excellent impact-analysis skills and discipline
  • Experience analyzing existing code bases to maximize code reuse and avoid redundancy and inconsistency
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including communicating technical information to nontechnical audiences
  • Clear understanding and application of SDLC methodology in design and development phases
  • Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices
  • Familiarity with Git and job scheduling in GitHub Runner
  • 2 years of proven work experience with data management principles, methodologies, and frameworks, including master data management, data security, data dictionaries, metadata management, data governance, and data quality
  • Proficiency in business process mapping, solution design, and data analysis
  • Experience with Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience with Excel and SQL
  • Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well in a cross-organizational team environment
  • Must obtain and maintain a federal PIV card, including a favorable background investigation
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Federal or National Laboratory experience is a plus
