Job Description
Investor Relations Associate helping to grow the investor side of Paires, a network for founders and investors. Engaging with HNWIs and family offices to build relationships and manage live deal flow.
Responsibilities:
- Help grow the investor side of Paires
- Work alongside senior investor team on live mandates
- Qualify allocators, prepare briefs, run follow-ups, and manage investor relationships
- Identify family offices and HNWIs who back US startups
- Build a personal book of relationships and manage them
Requirements:
- Started building an allocator network for real, through a seat in wealth management, private banking, a family office, placement, or your own hustle.
- Can explain your method of finding the right investors
- Know what your investors actually do with their money, ideally including direct allocations into US startups
- Listen more than pitch, treating discretion as a reflex
- Work like it's 2026 with AI tooling running the pipeline and prep
