Job Description
Lead the Information Systems function for Smart Buildings Division at ABB. Shape IS strategy and inspire a high-performing IS team with a focus on operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Information Systems (IS) function for the Smart Buildings Division.
- Shape and execute the division’s IS strategy to support business growth and operational excellence.
- Accountable for IS architecture, technology roadmap, and project portfolio.
- Drive the modernization, simplification, and standardization of the division’s IS landscape.
- Identify opportunities to leverage digital technologies, optimize IS investments, and maximize value delivered through technology solutions.
- Build relationships across the organization and influence strategic decisions.
- Develop and inspire a high-performing IS team, promoting a culture of innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience across a broad range of information technology disciplines.
- Proven experience leading IS/IT teams, projects, and business initiatives in a complex, global environment.
- Strategic technology leader with strong analytical skills, translating business needs into impactful technology solutions.
- Business- and value-focused, with expertise in financial management, technology portfolios, budgets, and vendor partnerships.
- Influential collaborator and communicator, building strong stakeholder relationships and driving alignment across business and technology teams.
- Results-driven change agent, leading technology adoption, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
