Job Description
IT Governance Analyst providing essential support services for IT governance effectiveness in a California-based IT consulting firm. Working collaboratively to improve decision-making processes and governance practices.
Responsibilities:
- provide IT Governance Support Services that are essential for improving the effectiveness of IT governance
- analyze current IT governance processes to identify gaps and develop improved processes
- maintain an inventory of IT governance assets and their status
- collect and analyze data to support decision-making and continuous improvement
- develop standardized procedures for adaptive IT governance
- create and maintain an IT Governance roadmap that outlines maturity targets
- establish standard practices and timelines for IT budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal planning
- review current IT standards against industry best practices and relevant federal and state regulations
- facilitate workgroups to adopt and implement updated IT standards
- create training materials and recorded sessions on IT Governance for ETS product and delivery teams
Requirements:
- Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes.
- Within the last ten (10) years, at least three (3) years of aligning IT systems with organizational business processes experience must have been in a lead capacity.
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
- Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.
- Within the last ten (10) years, must have five (5) years of FTE experience developing, planning, and supporting an IT governance framework.
- Within the last ten (10) years, at least three (3) years of that experience must have been in supporting executive-level decision-making.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related, project management, leadership, communications, or Engineering field.
- Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.
- Must be able to provide a client/user end reference contact information for each applicable project meeting the requirements upon request in the qualification form.
- In addition, you must be able to submit completed reference forms when requested.
- Each reference form must be signed by the referenced individual.
- The reference contact must be a representative of the company for which the project was developed and must have served in a management or supervisory role.
