Job Description
IT project manager overseeing multi-client engagements and delivering Microsoft 365 and cloud solutions. Managing scope, budgets, timelines, risks, stakeholders, and business outcomes across diverse projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple client engagements and deliver high-quality results across a portfolio of projects
- Drive projects from initiation through completion, defining and achieving scope, timelines, and outcomes
- Spend approximately 90% of time directly managing projects
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer commitments are met
- Consult with clients/prospects, vendors, and internal personnel to validate estimates, coordinate operations, and resolve issues
- Follow project management governance and control best practices
- Prepare Project Plans covering resources, timeframes, and budgets
- Report project status and variances
- Track project progress against goals, objectives, budgets, and timelines
- Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule
- Implement change management processes and assess impacts of change requests on schedule, quality, and risks
- Develop communications strategies to keep stakeholders informed of progress, updates, and risks
- Support pricing and proposal stakeholders with standards of work, specifications, and service effort/cost estimates
- Ensure delivery aligns with client expectations and company commitments
- Report delivery results regarding CSAT, profitability, and next-step opportunities
- Apply best practices as a subject matter expert
- Identify technical solutions that improve business performance and ensure requirements are met
- Cultivate effective stakeholder relationships
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–7 years of project leadership and industry experience, with a track record managing deliverables for business and financial results
- 5+ years of successful project management initiatives in a business integration role/capacity
- Education and/or experience equivalent to an undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field
- Experience with a vendor or project service delivery organization preferred
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 Platform and Cloud solutions
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Modern Workplace and cloud-based solutions
- PMP nice to have
- Financial acumen regarding budgets, forecasting, and risk/cost controls
- Experience managing and monitoring performance metrics across business units and project portfolios
- Exceptional management capability and oral, written communication, and presentation skills
- Success delivering results on time and on budget
- Ability to influence business and functional teams
- Ability to work under tight timelines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as required and work outside normal business hours
- Independent self-starter with collaborative working style, strong work ethic, and flexibility across responsibilities
