Job Description

IT & Systems Manager responsible for core systems security and performance. Managing IT vendor relationships and technology initiatives to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee core business systems, ensuring they remain secure, stable, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external IT suppliers, software vendors, and technology partners to ensure service quality and performance.
  • Lead and coordinate IT projects, system upgrades, and technology initiatives to support operational and strategic goals.
  • Monitor system integrations, data flows, and platform connectivity to ensure accurate, secure, and efficient information exchange.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reduce costs, streamline processes, and enhance digital capabilities.
  • Oversee website systems, digital platforms, and customer-facing technology, including online quote and purchase journeys.
  • Provide technology leadership through reporting, troubleshooting, governance, vendor management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in IT systems management or technology leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, integrations, data flows, infrastructure, and business-critical technology platforms.
  • Proven experience managing IT vendors, software providers, service levels, and technology partner relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering technology projects and driving system, process, and operational improvements.
  • Solid knowledge of IT security, compliance, regulatory requirements, and risk management within business environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Commercially focused, highly organised, and capable of balancing strategic planning with hands-on troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
