Job Description
Junior Web Designer creating responsive HTML/CSS websites for DealerOn’s automotive dealership marketing platform. Supporting client-requested design changes with web coding and graphic design.
Responsibilities:
- Support Implementation and Client Support teams by completing website design changes requested by clients
- Implement web solutions using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery within the company's bespoke content management system
- Complete tasks requiring graphic design and coding knowledge
- Work alongside other web designers and internal teams
- Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate modern techniques into projects and designs
- Balance work and due dates to complete tasks on time
- Ensure work quality meets the company's standards
- Adapt to process changes while maintaining a positive attitude
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Digital Media, Graphic Design, or related field
- 1-3 years of work experience in web design, including responsive web design
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
- Strong fundamental HTML/CSS skills; applicants should be able to hand-code
- Familiarity with responsive web design concepts
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Experience with Content Management Systems preferred
- Basic knowledge of design principles: typography, color theory, and layout preferred
- Familiarity with Bootstrap framework (Bootstrap 3+) preferred
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator preferred
- jQuery and JavaScript knowledge preferred
- Experience in the automotive industry preferred
- Must be a US resident
- Must pass a background check as a condition of joining the team
