Job Description
Freelance Product Designer shaping web and mobile products for Berlin Bytes, a creative software development and consulting agency. Defining product strategy, UX flows, prototypes, and implementation-ready UI.
Responsibilities:
- Help define problem spaces, user needs, value propositions, and product opportunities for digital products and services
- Contribute to product discovery, user flows, product strategy, prototypes, and final UI
- Support feature definition and prioritisation with a product mindset
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and developers
- Create clear, implementation-ready designs and handoff materials
- Work within or contribute to design systems where needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Designer or Senior UX/UI Designer
- Strong portfolio showing web and mobile product work
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to product strategy, prioritisation, and feature definition
- Solid skills in UX, interaction design, UI design, and prototyping
- Ability to think beyond screens and contribute to product decisions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong spoken and written English
- German language skills (nice-to-have)
- Experience in agency, consulting, or client-facing environments (nice-to-have)
- Experience with SaaS, enterprise, mobile, or AI-related products (nice-to-have)
- Workshop or discovery facilitation experience (nice-to-have)
- Portfolio and a rate required for application consideration
- Availability and time zone required
