Job Description
Web Designer designing and coding Stravito’s AI-powered insights platform website. Building fast, accessible HubSpot landing pages and reusable marketing modules.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build pages, campaign landing pages, and new sections of stravito.com from initial sketch to launch
- Translate positioning and campaign briefs into effective pages
- Build reusable modules for campaign and landing pages so marketing can work independently
- Optimize pages for conversion
- Work within the HubSpot theme, including templates, modules, local build setup, and maintainability
- Write clean hand-written HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when needed beyond available tools
- Maintain site speed, accessibility, and consistency
- Document work and hand over a maintainable site
- Collaborate with the marketing team, Creative Director, Visual Designer, and engineer
- Independently drive website visual and implementation decisions
Requirements:
- Several years of experience designing visual interfaces and coding the same sites that went live
- Strong visual and typographic judgement
- Fluent in HTML and CSS, including modern layout
- Comfortable with JavaScript for building designed interactions
- Comfortable in React, or able to become productive in a React codebase within a couple of weeks
- Reliable and able to self-manage and keep people updated without being chased
- Able to work from someone else's brief
- Able to build landing pages quickly using reusable modules and appropriate one-off solutions
- Experience using AI in work
- HubSpot and HubL experience is a plus, not a must
- Motion and interaction design experience, in code or After Effects, is nice to have
- Experience with marketing websites for B2B software is nice to have
- Personal website built and maintained by the candidate is nice to have
- Must share two or three live sites and specify what was personally designed and coded
Benefits:
