Job Description
Lead Analyst for Rythm Health, transforming data into clear insights in a startup environment. Collaborating directly with leadership on product, marketing, and growth decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Own our analytics infrastructure end-to-end — from data pipelines and dashboards to ad hoc deep dives.
- Build and maintain the metrics that guide how we operate: retention, churn, activation, engagement, LTV, and everything in between.
- Identify the patterns in our data that aren't obvious — and turn them into recommendations leadership can act on within days, not quarters.
- Partner directly with founders and execs on growth experiments, pricing analysis, and product decisions.
- Monitor subscription and cancellation trends, surface root causes, and help the team prioritize the highest-leverage fixes.
- Document your work so others can move fast.
Requirements:
- Live and work in the U.S. and communicate clearly in English.
- Have strong quantitative fundamentals and both an academic and intuitive understanding of math and statistics.
- Can do this job without leaning on AI to think for you. We want the analyst, not the prompt.
- Fluent with AI tools that have allowed you to 10x compared to pre-AI.
- Have 5+ years of hands-on analytics experience — ideally at a consumer company.
- Write SQL the way other people write English — fluently and without thinking about it.
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup where the playbook is still being written.
- Can manage your own priorities, break down ambiguous problems, and deliver without being asked twice.
- Can use your own dashboards and reporting to give recommendations and drive next steps.
- Are not submitting an AI resume. (If you are human, please say so in your application.)
- Have experience with subscription businesses and understand the mechanics of churn, cohort retention, and LTV modeling.
- Are comfortable with HIPAA-adjacent data and understand what responsible handling looks like in practice.
- Have experience with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Snowflake, Sigma, Posthog, or similar — and can set up what we don't yet have.
- Are comfortable coding in python or other programming languages.
- Have worked directly with founders or executives and know how to communicate findings without burying the lede.
- Know when a chart is the right answer and when a single sentence is better.
