Job Description

Lead Director for Medicare Investment Management process at CVS Health. Driving strategic business cases and managing the $100M+ Medicare investment portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading the Medicare Investment Management process
  • Facilitating and driving the completion of business cases to support Medicare’s strategic programs
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Medicare investment management team
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team on business case best practices
  • Look for opportunities to continuously improve the process
  • Serving as process owner for all investment management activities
  • Collaborating and partnering with both the Medicare Finance team and the Capital Planning team
  • Create and manage the $100M+ Medicare investment portfolio throughout the year
  • Facilitate the annual strategic investment ideation process
  • Lead the business case creation process for assigned teams
  • Collaborate with IT to estimate initiative costs
  • Partner with Medicare Finance to quantify benefits
  • Manage financials on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Prepare executive-level presentations to support the investment portfolio
  • Assess risks and opportunities, recommending funding reallocations as needed

Requirements:

  • 8–10 years of progressive financial experience with a focus on business case development and benefit realization
  • Demonstrated success in a matrixed organizational environment
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Advanced analytical skills for financial analysis and investment recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven capability to drive performance improvements
  • Knowledge of Medicare (Preferred)
  • Experience working with IT on large complex initiatives (Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (preferred)
