Job Description
Lead Field Service Engineer at GE Vernova focusing on installation and troubleshooting for power conversion solutions. Requires extensive travel to customer sites for commissioning and support.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and commissioning on automation systems at customer sites
- Troubleshoot automation problems during scheduled Port visits or at sea
- Develop documentation for commissioning and maintenance procedures
- Provide on-call support for customer service inquiries
- Manage onsite project technical duties
- Identify sales opportunities for service agreements and upgrades
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- OR Associate's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience
- OR high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of related industry experience
- Ability and willingness to travel 85% of the time
- Must pass a Helicopter Underwater Egress Training (HUET)
- Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with MS Office
