Job Description

Lead Field Service Engineer at GE Vernova focusing on installation and troubleshooting for power conversion solutions. Requires extensive travel to customer sites for commissioning and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation and commissioning on automation systems at customer sites
  • Troubleshoot automation problems during scheduled Port visits or at sea
  • Develop documentation for commissioning and maintenance procedures
  • Provide on-call support for customer service inquiries
  • Manage onsite project technical duties
  • Identify sales opportunities for service agreements and upgrades

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • OR Associate's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience
  • OR high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of related industry experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel 85% of the time
  • Must pass a Helicopter Underwater Egress Training (HUET)
  • Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with MS Office
