Job Description

Lead product manager shaping Fifth Third’s Newline embedded payments and deposits platform. Owning API documentation, Dashboard roadmap, feature releases, and developer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a front-end product using technical data from the Newline API
  • Own and improve public-facing API documentation and the Dashboard
  • Champion front-end products internally and externally
  • Conduct discovery to identify product and developer-experience improvements
  • Define team priorities and own the near-term and long-term roadmap
  • Decompose features into workable development tickets
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, design, operations, implementation, client success, risk, and financial partners
  • Manage governance processes for feature enablement and releases
  • Train stakeholders on newly released features
  • Operate responsibly within a regulated financial environment
  • Support the Product Line Manager and team in achieving team goals

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or commensurate experience
  • 5–7+ years’ experience in product management
  • Strong product management background
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated success in strategic development and product execution
  • Strong communication and writing skills with ability to interact with and influence all organizational levels
  • Business acumen and understanding of business processes related to the products and clients
  • Understanding of how front-end products integrate with other services clients purchased from Newline and/or Fifth Third
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Ability to self-motivate and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
