- Conduct product discovery by interviewing engineers, product managers, and designers and reviewing support tickets, usage data, and CI logs
- Frame problems, define target users and outcomes, determine what not to build, and sequence useful releases
- Design experiences including flows, states, empty states, and error cases
- Prototype in Figma or code
- Build TypeScript and React interfaces, backend services and APIs, CLIs and terminal UIs, GitHub Apps and Actions, Harness pipeline templates, and Atlassian and Figma integrations

- Maintain consumer-grade quality for internal software, including responsiveness, accessibility, error messaging, and accurate documentation
- Define and measure outcomes through adoption instrumentation and published findings
- Earn adoption through design partners, pilots, launch posts, office hours, and clear migration paths

- Coordinate with teammates and involve the team when decisions affect workflows outside the owned area
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, excluding internships
- Track record of shipping software people chose to use
- Experience leading a complex project from unclear requirements through launch
- Ability to coordinate with other teams and make sound scope and implementation tradeoffs
- Strength in at least one relevant engineering area, such as TypeScript and React or Go, Python, Java, or Rust
