Job Description

Developer Relations representative promoting Trigger.dev's open-source AI-agent platform through San Francisco events, talks, and community relationships. Organizing meetups and hackathons to build developer awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend San Francisco developer events, meetups, AI Tinkers, YC events, and conferences
  • Build genuine relationships across the San Francisco developer and founder ecosystem
  • Obtain speaking slots at existing events, including talks and panels
  • Deliver polished, memorable talks
  • Organize Trigger.dev meetups or talks
  • Explore and run joint events such as hackathons with major technology companies
  • Optionally write blog recaps or produce short YouTube clips of talks
  • Work largely independently in San Francisco
  • Report event activity, talks given, and people met
  • Help customers, review pull requests, and create issues in the open-source community
  • Keep documentation up to date
  • Contribute to code examples, blog articles, videos, and tweets

Requirements:

  • Based in San Francisco
  • Genuine stage presence and charisma
  • Video evidence of speaking, presenting, or performing
  • Developer background and credibility with engineers
  • High self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Genuine belief in Trigger.dev's product
  • Ex-YC founder status is an advantage
  • Existing relationships or audience within the SF/AI developer or founder scene is an advantage
  • Early-stage founder experience or being very early in career and highly self-directed is an advantage
  • Track record of speaking at or organizing developer events is an advantage
  • Social media presence is an advantage
