Job Description

Lead Product Manager overseeing partner integrations for EnergyHub, focusing on APIs and technical partnerships. Driving product strategies to enhance energy management software.

Responsibilities:

  • Scale the Ecosystem: Own the end-to-end roadmap for partner integrations, from bespoke connections to a scalable, modern integration framework.
  • Own API Strategy: Lead the evolution of our developer platform and APIs, ensuring they are robust, well-documented, and intuitive for external partners to build against.
  • Partner Advocacy: Act as the primary technical product contact for major OEMs, aligning their product roadmaps with EnergyHub’s requirements.
  • Standardize the Future: Represent EnergyHub in industry-standard discussions (e.g., OpenADR, IEEE 2030.5) to ensure our platform remains at the forefront of energy communication protocols.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Business Development to evaluate new partners, Solutions Engineering to troubleshoot complex deployments, and other internal engineering teams to ensure reliability from our partners.
  • Outcome-Driven Delivery: Translate complex technical constraints into clear product requirements, balancing the need for deep technical stability with the speed required to enter new markets.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of software product management experience, with a significant focus on APIs, platform products, or third-party integrations.
  • Deep Technical Fluency: Comfort discussing REST APIs, Webhooks, OAuth, and cloud-to-cloud integrations with senior engineers and external technical teams.
  • Strategic Relationship Management: Proven ability to influence external stakeholders and navigate the business interests of large-scale hardware partners.
  • Complexity Management: A track record of taking messy, non-standard data inputs from various sources and normalizing them into a cohesive product experience.
  • Systems Thinking: Ability to see the 'big picture' of how a single integration impacts grid stability, data reporting, and the end-user experience.
  • Passion for the Mission: A drive to accelerate the energy transition by making it easier for any device to contribute to a stable, green grid.
  • (Preferred) Direct experience in the Energy IoT space or working with DER (Distributed Energy Resource) protocols.
