Job Description
Lead QA Developer at TakeProfitTrader responsible for defining and driving the QA vision and managing a team of QA engineers. Focused on manual, automation, performance, and regression testing.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers across manual and automation testing
- Define and continuously improve the overall QA strategy, test standards, and best practices
- Design, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on functional and technical requirements
- Own and execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing for all releases
- Build, maintain, and scale automated test suites for UI, API, and backend workflows
- Plan and execute load, stress, and performance testing to validate system behavior under peak traffic
- Ensure defects are logged with clear reproduction steps, impact analysis, and prioritization
- Partner with developers to improve testability, automation coverage, and defect prevention
- Provide quality sign-off and risk assessment for production releases
- Establish QA metrics and reporting to track quality trends over time
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with experience leading QA teams
- Strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing
- Proven ability to define and scale regression testing strategies
- Experience testing complex web applications, APIs, and backend services
- Deep understanding of functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Hands-on experience with modern test automation and performance testing tools
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development and release cycles
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
