Job Description
Legal and Compliance Assistant providing support for iGaming license applications and regulatory affairs. Collaborating with external counsel and managing legal compliance across various jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on legal and compliance support across a multi-jurisdictional portfolio covering iGaming license applications, commercial contract drafting and review, AML/KYC compliance documentation, consumer dispute management, and cross-border corporate structuring.
- Manage a high volume and wide variety of concurrent legal tasks.
- Work closely with external counsel in different jurisdictions.
- Produce well-structured written work to a consistent standard.
- Research and compile legal and regulatory requirements for iGaming license applications.
- Prepare and organize required documentation for license applications, including corporate documents, due diligence materials, and financial reports.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities to track the progress of applications and ensure timely submission.
- Conduct legal research on gaming laws, data protection requirements, and industry best practices.
- Draft, review, and redline a broad range of commercial contracts and agreements.
- Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions; support responses to regulatory inquiries, consumer disputes, and administrative proceedings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law
- 1–3 years of experience in a legal, compliance, or paralegal role; experience in iGaming, online gaming, or technology is preferred
- Fluent in English is essential
- Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or Chinese (Mandarin) will be an advantage
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Knowledge of technical compliance standards in iGaming (e.g., data reporting, platform integrity, and testing) is a plus
