Job Description
Licensed therapist delivering outpatient telehealth mental health care through Brave Health. Serving patients across the lifespan through commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
- Deliver mental health treatment to patients across the lifespan
- Provide care to patients through commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare
- Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
- Use comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
- Partner with clients to achieve their goals
- Diagnose and address mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
- Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Support Brave Health's expansion into new markets by obtaining additional state licenses when required
Requirements:
- Master's level degree and licensure
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Work-from-home space with privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
- Fluency in English
- Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning
- Comfortable utilizing telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
- Comfortable completing 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
- Experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required
