Job Description

Licensure and Enrollment Lead/Specialist managing Medicare, Medicaid, and healthcare regulatory filings for Addus HomeCare. Maintaining enrollments, licensing documentation, agency databases, and regulatory relationships remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, complete, and submit regulatory applications and filings required by Medicare and Medicaid programs, state and local licensing offices, and accrediting agencies
  • Ensure application and revalidation deadlines are met and program enrollments remain active
  • Communicate and correspond with CMS, Fiscal Intermediaries, Medicaid programs, licensing offices, and other regulatory agencies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory and licensing agencies
  • Ensure licensure applications and documentation are complete
  • Maintain an active database of agency contact information and filing deadlines
  • Enter updates into agency portals in a timely manner
  • Maintain current knowledge of rules, regulations, and applications for each state where company hospice and home health agencies are located
  • Assist with communicating agency status changes to CMS, Medicaid programs, and licensing agencies
  • Assist with or complete special reports as needed
  • Follow Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements
  • Maintain positive internal and external customer service relationships
  • Plan and organize work effectively, meet productivity requirements, and promote a team-oriented environment
  • Represent the organization professionally at all times

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Services, or a related field
  • Previous credentialing and/or provider enrollment experience preferred
  • Experience with Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, including PECOS, preferred
  • Ancillary facility-based credentialing and contracting experience preferred
  • Experience in healthcare regulatory/licensing and enrollment preferred
  • Experience in project management/coordination preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in proposal development and technical writing
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Office
  • Scheduling software or database skills desired
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and comply with program and contract policies and procedures
