Job Description
Hipcamp field sales representative building Queensland’s private-land host network. Connecting farmers, landowners, and campgrounds with Hipcamp’s camping marketplace.
Responsibilities:
- Build a new field sales channel in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, QLD region
- Leverage an existing agricultural and local community network to generate new host opportunities
- Connect Hipcamp with farmers, graziers, landowners, and other property owners
- Identify relevant commercial camping opportunities, including independent caravan parks and established campgrounds
- Meet landowners in person, generate leads, visit properties, and re-engage hard-to-reach prospects
- Represent Hipcamp at local agricultural and community events
- Build relationships with farmers, graziers, landowners, and outdoor businesses
- Conduct in-person prospecting, property visits, and sales meetings
- Attend farmers' markets, agricultural events, shows, field days, and community gatherings
- Maintain the pipeline in the CRM and partner with the broader sales team
- Share local market insights and identify growth opportunities for Hipcamp
Requirements:
- Deep familiarity with the local agricultural and farming community — essential
- 1+ year of sales, business development, or relationship-building experience
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently
- Persistent and comfortable with rejection
- Valid driver licence
- Reliable transport
- Verifiable comprehensive car insurance
