Job Description
Maintenance Technician diagnosing and repairing Whistle Express car-wash mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Maintaining equipment across multiple sites and responding to urgent breakdowns.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems
- Repair or replace defective parts
- Conduct routine checks, service equipment, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance
- Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, and other building systems
- Inspect equipment and facilities for safety and code compliance
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests
- Manage spare parts and tools
- Cover multiple sites across the geographic market
Requirements:
- No degree required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mechanical curiosity and willingness to learn
- Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems
- Comfort with hand and power tools
- Proficiency with diagnostics and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to identify issues and find effective solutions
- Attention to detail for inspections and accurate repairs
- Physical ability to perform active, hands-on maintenance tasks
- Ability to collaborate with teams and document work
- Ability to work across multiple sites
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts when required
