Job Description
Market Developer expanding Signode’s industrial packaging coverage across North and West Africa. Identifying markets, partners, and growth opportunities while driving customer engagement and market-entry actions.
Responsibilities:
- Expand coverage in developing markets by identifying new business opportunities in North and West Africa
- Identify fast-growing markets and support go-to-market approach decisions
- Explore new opportunities by industry or country
- Increase market coverage in assigned territories through structured market-entry and growth actions
- Provide market intelligence to inform go-to-market route decisions aligned with customer needs
- Drive growth initiatives in segment-specific markets through targeted prospecting and customer engagement
- Identify and recommend new partners or agents, support onboarding, and maintain an opportunity funnel
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure feasible offers and a consistent customer experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5–10 years in industrial sales, multicountry environment, direct sales, and channel/distributor sales
- Strong business acumen
- Customer relationship-building skills
- Analytical skills
- Execution discipline
- Proficiency in English
- Willingness to travel more than 80% domestically or internationally
