Job Description
MAWM developer configuring Manhattan Active Warehouse Management and building APIs, mappings, and extensions. Integrating warehouse operations with ERPs, OMS, and material handling systems.
Responsibilities:
- Configure baseline MAWM functionalities, including inbound receiving, putaway, wave planning, order allocation, picking, packing, and shipping rules
- Design, build, and deploy RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and event-driven integrations connecting MAWM with SAP, Sterling OMS, automated material handling systems, and other enterprise systems
- Develop complex JSON/XML data mappings and translation logic using MuleSoft, Boomi, or native cloud services
- Use the Manhattan Active extensibility framework to build custom UI components, create user exits, and develop custom logic without altering base code
- Conduct API testing using Postman/SoapUI
- Create technical unit test scripts and support SIT and UAT phases
- Collaborate with onshore functional teams and technical architects in an Agile environment
- Participate in daily stand-ups, technical design reviews, and sprint planning during designated overlap hours
- Act as a technical escalation point for L3 production defects
- Monitor integration logs, troubleshoot message failures, and apply code fixes
Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on technical experience with Manhattan Associates WMS platforms
- Minimum of 1–2 years specifically focused on Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM)
- Deep understanding of API-led connectivity, REST/SOAP web services, JSON, XML, Webhooks, and OAuth security protocols
- Strong foundational knowledge of warehouse operations, MHE integration (WCS/WES), and end-to-end supply chain data flows
- Proficiency in SQL
- Basic scripting skills in Python or JavaScript
- Proficiency with API testing tools, including Postman
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures
- Preferably knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Excellent English communication skills
- Proven track record collaborating with global, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones
