Job Description
Software Engineer developing full-stack applications and migrating data to AWS for First Advantage’s fulfillment team. Automating workflows, resolving technical issues, and mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the First Advantage Fulfillment team
- Code to technical specifications
- Automate and write scripts
- Migrate applications and data to AWS
- Analyze and resolve ongoing technical issues
- Build and maintain applications
- Write maintainable, high-performance code while working with the team
- Keep up with technology trends and take on technical challenges
- Perform code reviews and regression testing
- Write test cases to achieve highly scalable code
- Learn and implement new technologies based on requirements
- Mentor team members on new technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-6 years of experience in Python and Node.js, along with .NET (optional), AWS/Azure Cloud, DevOps, and SQL/Postgres databases
- Experience as a full-stack product developer
- Experience with SQL and AWS
- Experience with RESTful Web Services and Web API
- Experience with XML/XSLT, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with Selenium-with-Python or Python and Node.js
- Excellent problem-solving and R&D skills
- Ability to work with new technologies
- Excellent communication with offshore/onshore stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- AWS certification is nice to have
