Job Description
Medical communications postdoctoral fellowship developing scientific content for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Building medical writing expertise through cross-functional agency projects and Good Publication Practices.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in a one-year Medical Communications Postdoctoral Fellowship
- Develop an understanding of the medical communications industry and agency services for pharmaceutical and biotech client teams
- Develop core competencies by creating various types of scientific communications
- Work cross-functionally with Account, Creative, and Medical Strategy partners
- Collaborate with external client stakeholders
- Develop understanding of Medical Writing and Scientific Director competencies and responsibilities
- Learn and apply industry guidelines and Good Publication Practices
- Develop highly visible projects
- Complete a writing assessment as part of the application process
Requirements:
- Advanced Degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or DVM); pharmacist licensure is not required
- Physically located in Eastern or Central time zones (preferable) and able to work approximately 9am–5pm Monday through Friday
- Ongoing eligibility to work for any employer in the US; Citrus cannot provide work sponsorships
- Residents of Canada are able to apply
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to conform writing to prescribed style format
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability
- Ability to think analytically and effectively plan, prioritize, and execute
- Expert verbal and written communication skills
- Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae and Letter of Intent required
- Successful candidates must complete a writing assessment
