Job Description
Medical Data Annotator for IQVIA enhancing AI models through medical data annotation and compliance. Work remotely while using expertise in healthcare and medical terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Using an annotation tool to link report texts to medical concepts and/or ontologies
- Ensuring that all data is completely pseudonymized and maintain compliance with all data privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements
- Analyze, label, and structure medical data—including clinical text and electronic health records (EHRs)
- Participate in quality assurance, inter-annotator agreement reviews, and improvements in annotation procedures
- Interpret medical terminology and concepts, ensuring precise and consistent annotation
Requirements:
- Background in medicine, nursing, biomedical or life sciences, health informatics, or related field
- Strong understanding of annotating medical documents and the complexities involved
- Familiarity with health domains, medical terminology, and medical reports
- Experience with ontology systems such as ICD-10 or SNOMED-CT is an advantage
- Experience working with EHR data
- Ability to work independently
- Critical thinking, not afraid to ask questions and question the status quo
- Fluent Dutch language skills and ability to understand medical documents in Dutch
