Job Description

Medical Education Manager developing evidence-based compression therapy programs for Sigvaris, a global compression solutions provider. Educating healthcare professionals, engaging KOLs, and evaluating clinical learning outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive medical education strategy focused on lymphedema, lipedema, chronic venous insufficiency, wound management, and compression therapy
  • Identify clinical knowledge gaps and emerging educational needs among healthcare professionals
  • Support product lifecycle management and new product launches through educational planning and execution
  • Create and maintain scientifically accurate educational materials, presentations, clinical guides, case studies, webinars, and digital learning content
  • Translate clinical research and evidence into practical educational resources
  • Lead workshops, clinical training programs, symposiums, webinars, and conference education activities
  • Support continuing education initiatives and professional organization partnerships
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clinical experts and key opinion leaders
  • Develop faculty for speaker programs, educational events, and advisory boards
  • Monitor and communicate emerging clinical evidence, treatment guidelines, and industry trends
  • Support publication planning, congress activities, and scientific data dissemination
  • Establish metrics, analyze feedback, and evaluate educational program effectiveness and learner outcomes
  • Maintain reporting and tracking of key business metrics and drive continuous improvement
  • Communicate developments, risks, and opportunities to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with SIGVARIS policies, FDA, ISO 13485 standards, and applicable laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • BS required in related clinical field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in medical education, clinical education, medical affairs, rehabilitation, vascular care, wound care, or compression therapy
  • Experience working directly with healthcare professionals in lymphedema, oedema management, wound care, oncology rehabilitation, or vascular specialties
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering clinical education programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AI resources, and Virtual Learning platforms
  • Deep understanding of lymphedema pathophysiology and treatment
  • Knowledge of Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT)
  • Knowledge of compression garment therapy
  • Knowledge of venous and lymphatic disorders
  • Knowledge of lipedema management
  • Knowledge of wound care and edema management
  • Ability to interpret and communicate clinical evidence
  • Strong scientific presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience with adult learning principles and educational program design
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Willingness to travel within the region 40–60%
  • Must reside in close proximity to a major airport
  • Ability to meet stated physical requirements
  • Successful completion of background check including MVR, verifiable education and employment, and drug test required before hire
