Job Description
Medical Science Liaison advancing BeOne’s solid-tumor oncology portfolio across Malaysia. Building healthcare partnerships, supporting evidence generation, and shaping medical strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scientific relationships with oncologists, pathologists, researchers, and healthcare stakeholders across Malaysia
- Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions on disease areas, clinical data, treatment landscapes, and company products and pipeline
- Capture, synthesize, and communicate medical insights to inform medical strategies, planning, and evidence needs
- Support early access programs, diagnostic pathway initiatives, and patient-focused medical initiatives
- Maintain current knowledge of clinical guidelines, competitor data, treatment pathways, and emerging oncology evidence
- Support medical education initiatives, scientific symposia, and advisory boards
- Deliver internal scientific training on disease, product, data, and compliant communication knowledge
- Support medical review and localization of scientific materials
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests with accurate, balanced, non-promotional information
- Identify opportunities for local evidence generation, investigator-initiated studies, real-world evidence, registries, and collaborative research
- Support clinical trial and research feasibility assessments and site identification
- Facilitate interactions between investigators and internal stakeholders
- Gather clinical insights and unmet medical needs for medical strategy development
- Contribute to publication planning and scientific dissemination
- Collaborate with Market Access, Commercial, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, and Clinical Operations teams
- Contribute to annual medical planning and execution
- Ensure activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and applicable industry codes
Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD), Pharmacy Degree (BPharm/MPharm/PharmD), PhD, or other relevant life sciences qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience for MSL / 4 years of experience for Sr. MSL in Medical Affairs, clinical practice, or related roles
- Prior experience as an MSL is strongly preferred
- Advanced clinical, scientific, or research training in solid tumors, oncology, or related therapeutic areas preferred
- Familiarity with the Malaysian healthcare ecosystem preferred
- Experience supporting clinical research, RWE, or publication activities preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build credible, professional relationships with healthcare professionals preferred
- Deep therapeutic area expertise in oncology
- Strong scientific communication capabilities
- Ability to comply with company policies, local regulations, and applicable industry codes
