Job Description
NOC Infrastructure Administrator supporting Miratech’s 24/7 Linux, Windows, and cloud infrastructure remotely. Monitoring systems, resolving incidents, managing backups, and automating operational processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support for a 24/7 NOC environment supporting Linux and Windows-based systems
- Operate, maintain, and manage Linux and Windows systems supporting production operations
- Perform data backup and recovery activities
- Monitor, manage, and maintain Linux and Windows servers and applications
- Create and maintain environment-specific operating procedures and documentation
- Create, manage, and maintain user accounts and group memberships in Active Directory
- Perform daily system monitoring, ensuring system integrity, availability, and successful completion of scheduled jobs and backups
- Define, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve support requests
- Administer and monitor cloud-based infrastructure and managed services
- Develop, maintain, and utilize automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies
- Assist with patch management in Linux and Windows environments
- Create and maintain operational, configuration, and knowledge base documentation
- Lead shift operations when required
- Participate in a rotating shift schedule supporting mission-critical infrastructure and services
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Linux and Windows system administration
- Experience supporting production infrastructure in a 24/7 operational environment
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration
- Experience with system and application monitoring in production environments
- Hands-on knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, IP networking, and network troubleshooting
- Experience administering Microsoft infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows Security
- Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies such as AWS, Azure, VMware, and Hyper-V
- Experience developing automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Working knowledge of SQL queries and database troubleshooting
- Experience with web server administration and configuration
- Experience working with enterprise monitoring tools such as Nagios, Datadog, Jira, Salesforce, or similar platforms
- Experience managing incidents, documenting resolutions, and following operational procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to systems and processes
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

- Flexibility to work day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as part of a rotating schedule
