Job Description
Remote PMHNP providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, medication management, and treatment planning. SonderMind delivers technology-enabled mental health care and clinician support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Establish diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices and SonderMind standards
- Manage and monitor medications
- Assess treatment progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation for all client encounters
- Collaborate with therapists, care coordinators, and other providers to support continuity of care
- Maintain a consistent schedule and meet baseline expectations for completed clinical encounters
- Use the InSync platform and clinical tools to manage caseload, streamline documentation, and enhance care delivery
- Participate in care coordination and internal collaboration included within the base salary
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in applicable state(s)
- Active California PMHNP license
- Active California 103 designation
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based care
- Ability to maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Comfort working in a technology-enabled care environment
- Familiarity with job-relevant AI platforms such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or other industry-standard AI productivity tools
- NPI number
- DEA number
- Current U.S. residency and authorization to work for any U.S. employer
- Must be comfortable completing sessions in any additional language spoken
- Five years of clinical work history required for insurance credentialing; gaps of six months or more require explanation
